The construction emphasizes a tight, well-defined low B and even string balance — ideal for players who rely on extended range in modern performance settings.
Equipped with Atelier Z JBZ-5 pickups, the M#265 maintains clarity and articulation even in the lowest registers, ensuring notes remain focused and controlled.
At its core is the Bartolini XTCT + Spectrum Boost preamp — a low-noise, 3-band EQ system providing precise control over bass, mid, and treble frequencies. Derived from the renowned TCT platform associated with Marcus Miller, this circuit delivers transparency, headroom, and musical responsiveness without coloring the instrument’s natural voice.
Hand-built in Japan, the M#265 pairs performance-grade electronics with high-quality hardware, including Gotoh GB528 tuners and the original Atelier Z BB518 bridge, ensuring tuning stability and long-term reliability.
