The JHJ-245 Custom showcases Atelier Z’s distinctive JHJ pickup configuration, combining two J-style pickups with a humbucker to offer an unusually broad range of sounds from a single instrument.

Three independent volume controls allow the pickups to be blended in different combinations, moving from familiar J-style tones to the fuller character of the humbucker and creating sounds unique to the JHJ layout.

Built with an Ash body and Maple 1-piece neck (20 frets), this custom model is finished in Transparent Blue with a matching headstock, allowing the natural grain of the Ash body to remain visible beneath the finish.

At its core is the Bartolini XTCT + Spectrum Boost preamp, providing active tonal control alongside a switchable active/passive configuration for additional flexibility.

Hand-built in Japan, the JHJ-245 Custom is completed with Gotoh GB528 tuners and Atelier Z’s original BB419 bridge for reliable, performance-focused hardware throughout.
